Sahara
Went to see Sarah last night. I'm gonna give it 2 thumbs up, but my review comes with a footnote that I'm going to get out of the way now...so maybe it's a headnote?
Anyway, the movie's based on the book written by Clive Cussler. It's part of a series of books that all have the same main characters who are marine salvage workers. Anyway, I've read every damn one of them, and that's why my review is biased. I may have liked the movie more than others because I like the books. The movie stuck with the book more than most movies, and it was odd cause most of the actors they chose looked like how I imagined them.
Anyway, enough crap! This was a brainless action flick...my kinda stuff! I thought Matthew McConaughey did a good job. Normally I don't really like Penélope Cruz, but I did in this movie. Chicks that kick ass are hot ;) Just ask the MB, she kicks my ass all the time!!
It ain't no Indiana Jones, but if you like that type of movie, I'd give it a shot!

OK, here's my real footnote:
As a completely heterosexual observation...McConaughey got crazy buff for this movie! Damn, I wish I was an actor..."Hey pal, how about you go get crazy buff for the next 3 months, then shoot this movie in exotic locals for the next 2 months, and then I'll give you a million bucks. Sound ok?"
McConaughey's a pussy.
People pay me because I'm super buff, not to get super buff. I'm like a busker except I just show off my pecs instead of playing an instrument. People just come up to me and say "dayamn, here's some money yo".
Sometimes, if you're lucky, I'll flex and my pecs will hit some guy across the street. That's a crowd pleaser
