Well, I bought LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth

I installed it and tested it out quickly. I'm underwhelmed with the game play, although the graphics are pretty sweet. I find the camera to be zoomed in far to close. The game is not really anything new. It's a lot like warcraft, except you get to play the fellowship characters (who have special powers) as well as lead armies.
The good part about this whole thing is that I don't think I'm in danger of becoming an addict and wasting away from malnutrition.
However, when Age of Empires III comes out, I better either stay away, or go intravenous...
Pirate ships are cool. I was born on one you know...

Well, one thing I can say about this trip, I'm getting pretty good at Galaga. 24 years old and it still kicks ass! I was only able to get to about the 10th level when I first got here. Last night though, I discovered some sweet moves and made it to level 24! Oh yeah! :)
You can play a crappy version of the original here.
So, I had a pretty sweet weekend! I was hanging out in downtown San Francisco with a friend of mine.
I got to check out the beaches...

Ride the trolley cars...

Visit (or be visited at) Alcatraz...

And generally make an ass outta myself on these crazy scootercar things that they rent downtown...

All in all, the weekend of a king...

Sup G's?
So, I'm down here workin' it at EA. Hangin out in Redwood City. EA is in this gigantic techie park. Pretty boring location actually. It's lucky they have such a sweet campus cause there's pretty much nothing else within walking distance. It reminds me a lot of Dallas. Lots of huge highways and not much else.
The oracle building down the street is pretty cool lookin'

I'm shackin' up in this here hotel room

EA's got some pretty sweet perks...

I took a trip into downtown San Francisco last night to have dinner with a friend. It was pretty sweet!
Here's a pic of the Bay bridge...

And last but not least, I took a picture of Ripley's Believe It Or Not. On further inspection I looks like I caught an employee picking their nose...

Here's a closeup...

I especially like this mod:

Alright peeps, here's your chance to voice you musical opinions and help out the GDOG with his wedding at the same time.
What sweet assed tracks should gdog lay down?

He's gonna need some sweet lovin' dance music to get the ladies all hot and bothered. Then he's gonna need some rockin' tunes, and some end of the night drunk make out music.
I'm voting for some GnR - November Rain...wait, no, on second thought the lyrics probably won't go over well at a wedding. Damn weddings gotta be all happy and stuff. LAME! ;)
Maybe some "99 problems but my bitch ain't one"?
The end of the night...

Well dudes, looks like I'll be in San Francisco for the next 3 weeks starting Monday. I'm doing some contract work down there. Nsst!
The flight down is gonna kick ass. The only one I could get leaves at 7:30am. It's all about sleeping on the job anyway! :P
