so, it's been a while! to get all caught up, i finished the semester almost three weeks ago marking an official finish to my undergraduate degree. that left me fretting over what to do in the fall. as deadlines on my decision neared, i decided that i'm going to go ahead and start grad studies in the fall in SFU's geography department. i'll be studying probably something to do with the effects of community economic development projects on community health. i also decided that since i was going to keep going to school that i'd take the summer off to de-stress and have a bit of fun.
my big project now is moving out of the house i'm sharing into an apartment of my own over the next couple weeks.
scott is in europe now (he's been there almost a couple weeks now), and he's there till may 23rd. so i'll be all moved once he's back, then i'm gonna drag him to help me couch shop and bike shop. the couch is for my place, and the bike is partly because i want a decent one to take on the road trip.
i think i mentionned this, but that's the plan for july/august, scott and i will be busting it through a city near you! we're gonna try and visit whoever is along the way, so i'll try and get in touch with you all if you're in the country for the summer.

so, i managed to make it through the semester, and assuming that i passed art theory, i'm officially done. i also decided to go to grad school in the fall which means that i'm going to take the summer off. my current project is finding a place to live, and after that scott will be back. we're gonna chill here for a while and then go on a road trip across the country during july and august, so let me know if you're gonna be around and we'll stop by! scott left for europe yesterday, for five weeks. i'm totally missing him already, and to top it off, my tummy's acted up the past couple days, so i'm feeling extra miserable. he's gone till may 23rd, so i'm counting the days! anyway, that's all for now, i'm beat!

well, i had my last ever exam yesterday, and i have a paper due tomorrow in art history, which i haven't started yet (!) so, it's gonna be a fun day. the house hunt (i'm moving if you didn't know) is going ok. there's a place i'm gonna try and check out tomorrow if it hasn't been rented already. it'll be nice to get into a place that i can make my own again.
sunday, scott and i went down to granville island instead of studying and had som lunch. i got some bread, two tubes of white acrylic paint, and some really good salmon jerky.
anyway, better go do something productive.

so, tall scott thought my last entry sounded a little sketchy, so i thought i should let you all know that i haven't jumped off any tall buildings. in fact, in less than a week, i will be officially done! wednesday at 2pm baby! had my last class today. we had a party in spanish class, and the teacher's son came and taught us to salsa! i've got an exam on monday, and then a paper due at 2 on wed. good luck to whoever else is finishing up!
