So, I think I'm basically done prepping for Christmas, with a whole five days to spare!!! I sent out my last gift in the mail today, most of the rest are wrapped already. Just have to keep at knitting Scott's armwarmers, not sure if I'll actually get them done by Christmas, but will give it a go!
Had dinner at Bliss and Deb's last night with Mark's parents and brother, and learned to play Kanasta--don't let them fool you, it's complicated!!! But they were patient teachers, so it was a pretty painless new card-game learning experience!
In other news, I got my first Sampler package in the mail today...if you recall, I sent in a bunch of stuff as a contribution a while back. Look at all the cool stuff I got:

Wheeee!!!!!!!
AND, right after I got back from the post office this afternoon, the oven man called. He'd had a cancellation, and had the part on him, so he wanted to see if he could come put the part in...i was like, hell's ya! and you won't believe it, but the oven seems like it's working perfectly now!!! It's a Christmukah miracle!
And tonight--G-dog's in town, so we're gonna go have some Boston Pizza later on. Lotsa fun!
holy, today was quite the day. to preface this, it would be an understatement to say that i'm a little scared of getting my wisdom teeth pulled. i'm terrified. i had a consultation with an oral surgeon today, and was sick all morning cause i was so nervous. but i pulled myself together, and drove down there only to be made to wait 45mins to see the guy. by then i was really nervous again, and the guy was basically a loser and made me feel really bad about it. it was totally retarded and i cried, and i never want to go back there again. i'm going to go talk to my dentist again, she's really nice, and see if there's someone else who's a little more understanding who i can go to.
i've felt sick all day from the sheer stress of it all.
fucking medical people.
So, we went out for dinner with Bliss and Deb last night, and when they walked into the restaurant, Deb was carrying a pizza box. I thought that was a little odd, and even more odd when she put it down saying "This is for you!" When I looked a little closer, I saw this was not any regular old pizza box:

A spicy t-shirt? Well indeed it is! A City Girl Designs t-shirt!

Wheeee!

Been busy, lotsa stuff added to the shop. Mostly hairclips and paintings. Check it out, City Girl Designs shop.

This week it's gonna be all about sewing, cause I've got an order to fill, yay!
