I will be so impressed if this works! (It might take a minute to load...)
I think I forgot to post this really exciting news--CGD was mentioned in the May/June 2006 issues of VegNews Magazine!
Check it out!

So, I ordered a bunch of vegan (ie. dairy-free) treats from Pangea Vegan Foods, an online vegan food shop in the states, and thought I'd share some of my thoughts on them...
First, and sorry I don't have a photo--I got some fake parmesan...it's actually not bad, though it was the only one that didn't have yeast or walnuts in it, so some of the others might taste more realistic.
Next, these chocolate covered ricecrispy snack things. The dark chocolate ones were really stale and kinda nasty, I threw most of them out.

The white chocolate ones on the other hand were alright, and seriously addictive, though a bit too sweet.

(I also got white chocolate chips from the same company but haven't used them yet...)
These peppermint patties were delicious, though they had a little bit of a weird texture, and a nice surprise, tasted like real peppermint!

Possibly the best stuff I got were chocolates that resembeled smarties and those mini-eggs you get at easter...I ate them all before I had a chance to get photos...sorry! It had been so long since I had anything like this though, they were amazing, and I highly recommend them. Plus, they are coloured with natural dyes, and are supposedly "allergy free".
Finally, I bought this at the health food store cause it was on sale, only to realize a few weeks later, it was past its due date...I don't really get this stuff. I was expecting a bag of dry rice, and a bag of dry lentils that I would then cook, instead it was all precooked seriously overpackaged...of course, I didn't eat it cause it was past its best-before, but has anyone ever tried this stuff? Is it at all worth the packaging and price? I was disappointed, but maybe it was super tasty?

Next, some stuff I've cooked: A grilled cheese (tofutti mozza slices) with sundried tomatoes inside:

Another grilled cheese with creamy basil tomato soup (not nearly as good as just plain tomato):

Some hashbrowns with veggies and a dollop of homemade tomato sauce:

And one of my best recent foods, spring rolls with some braggs mixed with hot mustard to dip:

Possibly the best invention of the year: vegan tzatziki! Tasted just like the real thing to me, and was soooooo tasty!
